Huntsville’s Peter Sikalis is named Warrior Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (Feb. 26) – Today, Huntsville’s Peter Sikalis was named the Warrior Player of the Week for Feb. 18 to Feb. 24.

 

Over the weekend, Sikalis scored four goals in two games and the 6-foot-3-inch defenseman extended his point streak to four games.

 

“The entire organization is happy for Peter. It’s great to see him recognized after such a strong weekend,” said Glenn Detulleo, head coach of the Huntsville Havoc. “He continues to work hard every day and develop, and it’s nice to see him rewarded.”

 

The Huntsville Havoc hosted the Macon Mayhem for a two-game series over the weekend. On Feb. 22, Sikalis scored back-to-back goals in the first period, including one power play goal. The Havoc defeated the Mayhem 6-3 on Friday night.

 

The following night, Huntsville and Macon faced off for the second night in a row and Sikalis had another two-goal game. Sikalis scored the first two goals for the Havoc. Huntsville skated to a 4-2 victory over Macon on Saturday night.
