Pensacola’s Fulcher Named Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (November 14, 2023) – The SPHL announced today that goaltender Kaden Fulcher of the Pensacola Ice Flyers has been named the Warrior Player of the Week for November 6-12.

Fulcher led the Ice Flyers to a trio of victories, posting two shutouts as the Ice Flyers moved into third place in the SPHL standings.

On Thursday, Fulcher recorded his first shutout of the 2023-24 campaign, leading the Ice Flyers to a 4-0 blanking of Birmingham. The following night, Fulcher stopped 27 of 31 shots in a 5-4 win over Knoxville. , Fulcher was again a brick wall between the pipes on Saturday, stopping all 29 shots he faced en route to his league-best second shutout of the season and second in three games as the Ice Flyers defeated Knoxville 6-0.

Fulcher ranks tied for first in shutouts with two while posting a 2.86 goals against average. The Brigden, Ontario native is third in the league in minutes played with a 0.905 save percentage.
