Things clicked for the Storm on Saturday night in Moline as they defeated the Evansville Thunderbolts 5-1 to take three of four possible points out of the weekend series.
Al Graves got the party started when he deflected a Ben Boukal point-shot by Thunderbolts goaltender Braeden Ostepchuk to make it 1-0. For Graves it is his sixth goal of the season.
Stephen Gaul made it 2-0 with a quick snapshot at 15:40 of the first after John Scully forced a turnover in the corner off a faceoff and shoved the puck to Dalton Mills who found Gaul alone in front. The goal gave the Storm all the momentum heading into the locker room.
