Friday night in Evansville the Storm picked up their first road win, defeating the Evansville Thunderbolts 3-2 in overtime.
Taylor Pryce put the Storm on the board in period one when he picked up a rebound and ripped it home to make it 1-0.
That score stuck into the second period when Evansville beat Ryan Mulder for the first time to tie the game at 17:02 in the period.
In the third period John Schiavo regained the lead for Quad City with a wrist shot passed the glove of Thunderbolts netminder Parker Gahagen, moments after Gahagen made an incredible save on a chance from Dakota Klecha.
