Knoxville’s Jordan Stallard named Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (November 28, 2023) – The SPHL announced today that Jordan Stallard of the Knoxville Ice Bears has been named the Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week for November 20-26.

Stallard tallied three goals, including one game-winner, and added three assists with a +2 rating, leading the Ice Bears to a perfect 3-0-0 record week.

After Peoria jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Wednesday, Stallard ignited Knoxville’s comeback with a second-period goal. Stallard then assisted on Seth Ensor’s goal that tied the game at four as Knoxville rallied to defeat the Rivermen 6-5.

On Friday, Stallard led the Ice Bears to another comeback, scoring twice in the last three minutes of regulation. After he tied the game at three, Stallard scored the game-winner with 57 seconds remaining to give Knoxville a 4-3 win over Macon.

Stallard finished his week with a pair of assists, the second coming on the overtime winner by Dawson McKinney, as the Ice Bears defeated the Mayhem 3-2 on Saturday.

The Brandon, Manitoba native leads the Ice Bears with 17 points and 12 assists, which are also tied for second-most in the SPHL.
