SPHL announces suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (November 4, 2024) – The SPHL on Monday announced the following suspensions:

Pensacola’s Kolby Johnson

Pensacola’s Kolby Johnson has been suspended two games under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 25, Pensacola at Roanoke, played on Saturday, November 2.

Johnson was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.2, Fighting (Aggressor) at 8:19 of the second period.

Johnson sat out yesterday’s game against Fayetteville and will miss Pensacola’s game on Friday against Knoxville.

Macon’s Patriks Marcinkevics

Macon’s Patriks Marcinkevics has been suspended one game under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 27, Macon at Birmingham, played on Saturday, November 2.

Marcinkevics was assessed a minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct and a game misconduct under Rule 75.5, Unsportsmanlike Conduct (Obscene Gesture) at 14:07 of the first period.

Marcinkevics will miss Macon’s game on Friday against Huntsville.
