SPHL announces suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (March 18, 2024) – The SPHL on Monday announced the following suspensions:

Fayetteville’s Hudson Lambert

Fayetteville’s Hudson Lambert has been suspended two games under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 245, Knoxville at Fayetteville, played on Saturday, March 16.

Lambert was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for kneeing at 0:35 of the second period.

Lambert will miss Fayetteville’s games against Birmingham (March 22) and Huntsville (March 23).

Macon’s Brad Jenion

Macon’s Brad Jenion has been suspended three games under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 246, Evansville at Macon, played on Saturday, March 16.

Jenion was assessed a match penalty under Rule 48.5, Illegal Check to the Head, at 14:14 of the third period.

Jenion will miss Macon’s games against Pensacola (March 22 and 23) and Birmingham (March 29).

Pensacola’s Lucas Herrmann

Pensacola’s Lucas Herrmann has been suspended three games under Rule 70.10, Leaving the Bench, as a result of his actions in Game 248, Huntsville at Pensacola, played on Saturday, March 16.

Herrmann was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 70.6, Leaving the Bench, at 19:51 of the second period.

Herrmann will miss Pensacola’s games against Macon (March 22 and 23) and Evansville (March 29).

Huntsville’s Cole Reginato

Huntsville’s Cole Reginato has been suspended four games under Rule 28, Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in Game 248, Huntsville at Pensacola, played on Saturday, March 16.

Reginato was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a match penalty under Rule 46.15, Fighting, at 19:51 of the second period.

Reginato will miss Huntsville’s games against Knoxville (March 22, 29 and 30) and Fayetteville (March 23).
