HUNTERSVILLE, NC (February 24, 2023) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Friday announced the following suspension:
Knoxville’s Justin Portillo
Knoxville’s Justin Portillo has been suspended three games under Rule 70.10, Leaving the Bench, as a result of his actions in SPHL Game 222, Knoxville at Roanoke, played on Thursday, February 23.
Portillo was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 70.6, Leaving the Bench, at 12:22 of the first period.
Portillo will miss Knoxville’s games against Roanoke on February 24, February 25 and March 2.
