Pensacola’s Dallas Comeau named Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (December 6, 2022) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that Dallas Comeau of the Pensacola Ice Flyers has been named the Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week for November 28-December 4.

Comeau tallied five goals, two assists and was +3 as Pensacola went 1-1 in a pair of games last week.

Comeau jumped out to a fast start on Friday, scoring two goals 2:54 apart in the first period. He completed his hat trick with a second period goal though the Ice Flyers wound up on the short end, falling 7-4 to the Huntsville Havoc. On Saturday, Comeau closed out the week with two goals and two assists, notching a power play goal just 1:58 into the contest, before scoring his second of the period 1:46 later. Comeau would put the finishing touches on Pensacola’s victory with an assist on Jay Powell’s overtime winner as they defeated the Birmingham Bulls 6-5.

The Kelowna, BC native has now recorded a goal in four of his last five games, while his 14 points are fourth best on the team. Comeau has also recorded 11 points over his last six games, notching a point in five of those six games.
