Hosting the Knoxville Ice Bears in their final home game of the regular season, the Mayhem secured a valuable two points in the standings with a 4-2 victory.
Leo Thomas had reunited the Triple-A Line to start the game, putting Alternate Captains Jake Trask, John Siemer, and Stathis Soumelidis back on the same line. The gambit paid off, as the Mayhem were able to score in the 14th minute of play. Soumelidis centered a pass for Siemer from the right corner of the Knoxville zone, and Siemer ripped a wrist shot past Cody Porter to give the Mayhem a 1-0 lead.
Jimmy Soper was penalized for interference late in the opening stanza. The Mayhem killed the ensuing penalty, but Knoxville struck just five seconds later. Liam Kerins snap
