HUNTERSVILLE, NC (February 28, 2023) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that Rhett Kingston of the Macon Mayhem has been named the Warrior/SPHL Player of the Week for February, 20-26.
Kingston scored five goals, was +1, and helped lead Macon to a 2-1 record last week.
On Friday, Kingston scored the only goal of the game for the Mayhem late in the third period as they fell to the Storm 3-1. On Saturday, Kingston was unstoppable as he found the back of the net three times for his first SPHL hat trick. His first of three goals sparked a comeback for the Mayhem as it was the start of five straight for the Mayhem.
