Birmingham Bulls (3-0-1)
• Birmingham secured two wins this past weekend, defeating Evansville 4-1 at home on Friday and downing the Ice Flyers 5-2 at Pensacola on Saturday
• Carson Rose leads the SPHL in scoring after racking up a pair of goals on Friday while scoring twice and adding an assist on Saturday. On the season, Rose now has seven goals and eight points.
• Goaltender Hayden Stewart picked up his first two wins of the season, stopping 64 of 67 shots

Evansville Thunderbolts (1-3-1)
• Evansville split two games this weekend, losing 4-1 on Friday to Birmingham but rebounding with a 3-2 overtime win against Huntsville on Saturday.
• The Thunderbolts hosted Peoria Tuesday morning, setting a new single-game attendance record of 7,758 fans, as they fell to the Rivermen 5-2
• Brendan Harrogate scored the overtime goal with just over a minute left in the extra period against Huntsville
• Matthew Barnaby began the comeback for Evansville in the second period against the Havoc, scoring twice in the second to tie the game 2-2. For the weekend, he scored three goals.
NEXT UP: Evansville will host Huntsville on Friday (7:05 p.m. CT) before traveling to Roto-Rooter Ice at Propst Arena on Saturday (7:00 p.m. CT) to complete the weekend series
Fayetteville Marksmen (3-1-0)
• Fayetteville played back-to-back games in Macon, falling 4-2 on Friday before bouncing back on Saturday with a 4-2 win
• Ryan Kenny stopped 42 of 44 shots on Saturday against the Mayhem
• John Moncovich scored the game-winning goal on Saturday
• Dalton Hunter leads Fayetteville with four goals in four games while Grant Loven has seven points to lead the Marksmen

Huntsville Havoc (3-0-1)
• Huntsville recorded a 5-1 win at home against Pensacola in their home opener on Friday, but fell to Evansville in overtime on Saturday, 3-2
• Five different players scored a goal Friday for the Havoc
• Noah Finstrom leads Huntsville with four goals and five points on the season

Knoxville Ice Bears (2-1-1)
• Knoxville dropped two games to visiting Quad City, falling 5-0 on Friday and 3-2 in overtime on Saturday
• Sebastian Miedema scored his first professional goal on Saturday
• Jimmy Soper forced overtime on Saturday, as he tied the game at four in the early minutes of the third period

Macon Mayhem (1-2-0)
• Macon faced Fayetteville in a weekend series at home, taking a 4-2 win on Friday before falling 4-2 on Saturday
• Josh Boyko stopped 44 of 46 shots on Friday against the Marksmen
• Trent Grimshaw recorded his first professional goal and added three assists in the weekend series and now leads the team in scoring

Pensacola Ice Flyers (0-3-0)
• Pensacola fell to Huntsville 5-1 on Friday and 5-2 to Birmingham on Saturday

• Matt Wiesner and Adam Pilotte also scored for the Ice Flyers last weekend

Peoria Rivermen (2-0-2)
• Peoria raised their championship banner before the home opener Friday against Roanoke before defeating the Rail Yard Dawgs 4-1. Saturday saw Peoria rally from a two-goal deficit to force overtime before falling 4-3 to the Dawgs
• Peoria spread out the scoring on Friday as four different players notched their first goals of the season
• Colby Muise made 30 saves to earn his first SPHL win on Friday
• Rookie defenseman Josh Martin scored his first professional goal on Tuesday, closing out the scoring in Peoria’s 5-2 win at Evansville

Quad City Storm (3-0-0)
• Quad City visited Knoxville this past weekend and swept the Ice Bears, shutting out Knoxville 5-0 on Friday and winning in overtime on Saturday, 4-3
• Cole Golka earned Warrior SPHL Player of the Week honors as he scored four goals, including one game-winner, added two assists, and was +6 as the 3-0-0 Storm matched their best start in team history
• Brent Moran stopped all 26 Knoxville shots to earn the shutout on Friday
• Defenseman Jake Maynard recorded four assists in the weekend sweep
