Birmingham Bulls (4-2-1)
• Birmingham hosted Roanoke in their only game of the week, dropping a 2-1 decision on Friday
• Goaltender Austin Lotz stopped 34 of 36 shots, while MacGregor Sinclair scored for the Bulls
• Despite being held scoreless for the first time this season, Carson Rose leads the SPHL with eight goals

NEXT UP: Birmingham will travel to Knoxville for the first game of a home-and-home series on Friday (7:05 p.m. ET), before heading back to the Pelham Civic Complex on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT)

Evansville Thunderbolts (4-4-1)
• Evansville picked up a pair of wins last weekend, defeating Peoria 4-3 on Friday and downing Macon 4-3 in overtime on Saturday
• The Thunderbolts rallied from a 3-0 second-period deficit Friday as Scott Kirton scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period.
• Tyson Gilmour scored two goals on Saturday, including the overtime game-winner, to lead Evansville to the win at the Ford Center

NEXT UP: Evansville travels up I-74 to Peoria on Friday (7:15 p.m. CT) before heading back home on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT) to complete the weekend series with the Rivermen

Fayetteville Marksmen (7-1-0)
• Fayetteville took back-to-back games in Quad City, tallying a 3-1 victory on Friday and a 2-1 win on Saturday to maintain their hold on first place in the standings
• Mason Emoff scored two goals on Friday as the Marksmen put 46 shots on goal
• Dalton Hunter and Tyler Barrow set up Tyler Love to record Fayetteville’s first power-play goal in seven games on Saturday
• Goaltender Ryan Kenny earned Warrior Player of the Week honors for the second-straight week as he stopped 68 of 70 shots, moving his record to 7-0-0.

NEXT UP: Fayetteville hosts Macon this Friday (7:00 p.m. ET) and Saturday (6:00 p.m. ET) at the Crown Coliseum

Huntsville Havoc (5-2-1)
• Huntsville hosted a pair of games last weekend, defeating Macon 5-1 on Friday before falling 2-1 to Knoxville on Saturday
• Jack Jaunich led the Havoc with two goals on Friday, as four different players found the net
• Huntsville has four players in the top-20 rookie scorers (Noah Finstrom, Giovanni Procopio, Matt Allen, and Benito Posa). Additionally, Finstrom leads all rookies with five goals this season.

NEXT UP: Huntsville faces Pensacola in a home-and-home series, as Friday they welcome Pensacola to Roto-Rooter Ice at Propst Arena (7:00 p.m. CT) before traveling to the Pensacola Bay Center on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT)

Knoxville Ice Bears (4-3-1)
• Knoxville spent the weekend on the road, falling 7-4 at Pensacola on Friday before winning 5-3 over the Ice Flyers on Saturday and 2-1 at Huntsville on Sunday
• Tyler Williams scored his first professional goal, which proved to be the eventual game-winner, on Saturday
• Goaltender Stephen Mundinger made 40 saves on Sunday as the Ice Bears were outshot 41-29

NEXT UP: Knoxville hosts Birmingham on Friday (7:05 p.m. ET) before heading south to face the Bulls on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT)

Macon Mayhem (2-4-1)
• Macon hit the road for a pair of games, falling 5-1 to Huntsville on Friday before dropping a 4-3 decision in overtime in Evansville on Saturday
• Tao Ishizuka scored a goal and an assist on Saturday against Evansville.
• Ishizuka leads all rookies with four power-play points on the season

NEXT UP: Macon travels to Fayetteville for a pair of games on Friday (7:00 p.m. ET) and Saturday (6:00 p.m. ET)

Pensacola Ice Flyers (2-5-1)
• Pensacola hosted Knoxville this past weekend, defeating the Ice Bears 7-4 on Friday before falling 5-3 on Saturday
• Sam Dabrowski scored a pair of second-period goals, as six different Ice Flyers’ scored on Friday.
• Greg Smith is tied for second in points amongst rookies, recording a goal and six assists in eight games this season.

NEXT UP: Pensacola meets Huntsville at Roto-Rooter Ice at Propst Arena on Friday (7:00 p.m. CT) before heading back home to host the Havoc at Pensacola Bay Center on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT)

Peoria Rivermen (3-2-2)
• Peoria dropped their only game of the weekend, falling 4-3 to Evansville on Friday
• Rookie Zack Nazzarett tallied two goals in the first period against Evansville, including one just 29 seconds into the game. Nazzarett leads all rookies in scoring with four goals and four assists in seven games.
• Alec Baer scored once on Friday, upping his season totals to four goals and five assists, good for third in SPHL scoring

NEXT UP: Peoria faces Evansville in a weekend series, as they host the Thunderbolts on Friday (7:15 p.m. CT), before traveling to the Ford Center on Saturday (7:05 p.m. CT)

Quad City Storm (4-3-0)
• Quad City dropped a pair of games at home to Fayetteville, falling 3-1 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday
• Defenseman Jake Maynard leads his rookie counterparts with six assists
• Cole Golka and Leif Mattson both have 11 points this season (five goals, six assists), which leads the SPHL

NEXT UP: Quad City travels to the Berglund Center to play a two-game series against Roanoke on Friday and Saturday (7:05 p.m. ET)

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs (3-3-1)
• Roanoke won their only game of the weekend, defeating Birmingham 2-1 on Friday
• Nick Ford has eight assists in seven games to lead the SPHL
• Gustav Muller and Tim Kent are tied for second in scoring among rookies. Muller has four goals and three assists, adding a goal against Birmingham. Kent assisted on Muller’s goal and now has three goals and four assists.
