Fayetteville Marksmen find chemistry with ‘a bunch of good guys’

When a player joins a new hockey team, there’s no telling what kind of reception he’ll receive from the ones already on the roster.

But the goal of the Fayetteville Marksmen, said Taylor McCloy, is to make it easy for a new guy to feel right at home. And there’s got to be something to that, given the Marksmen’s recent spate of roster changes that don’t seem to have greatly affected the team’s on-ice performance. Fayetteville is 10-2-1 and tied for second place in the Southern Professional Hockey League standings after a Thanksgiving weekend split.
