The Peoria Rivermen are the only team left in pro hockey this season still unbeaten in regulation.
The Rivermen got a pair of goals from Zach Nieminen and a game-winner from SPHL scoring leader Darren McCormick Jr., 55 seconds into sudden-death to beat the Quad City Storm, 4-3, on Friday before 3,147 at TaxSlayer Center in Moline.
McCormick raced into the right side of the zone during three-on-three overtime, turned the corner and cut across the slot to tuck the game-winner under goaltender Peter Di Salvo.
