Surge, CableOne & Salvation Army Join Forces For Holiday Food Drive On Dec. 12
BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Surge announced on Monday that they have partnered with CableOne and the Salvation Army for a holiday canned food drive at the team's home game on December 12 against the Fayetteville FireAntz.
"The holiday season is a season of giving, and we're happy to give our fans the opportunity to contribute food to those less fortunate," said Surge chief operating officer Art Clarkson. "We as a team, along with CableOne, are proud to be able to help with the efforts of the Salvation Army to feed the hungry this holiday season."
Each fan that brings a canned food item to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on December 12 will receive $2 off the cost of a ticket to the game that evening. The Salvation Army will be on hand to collect the food and accept donations.
The Surge returns home December 11 and 12 against the Fayetteville FireAntz, with both games starting at 7:30 p.m. Purchase your tickets by calling (228) 287-PUCK!
