John Sullivan latest of many Snakes that have been out with injuries this season

The Columbus Cottonmouths usually have adequate medical facilities to deal with the players' bumps and bruises.

Coach Jerome Bechard is considering an expansion.

The latest victim is forward John Sullivan. Bechard is awaiting a specific diagnosis from the doctor, but Sullivan is out indefinitely and could be headed for the 30-day injured reserve list.

Sullivan's painful, significant injury comes at a bad time for the Snakes. Not only is Sullivan a key member of the team's most productive scoring line, but he joins a growing list of teammates who are trying to get healthy.

Defenseman Bret Tyler has missed five games, trying to heal a nagging injury. Tyler is considered probable for tonight's home contest against Augusta.

Defenseman Tom Maldonado will be a game-time decision on tonight, after playing sparingly over the weekend in Augusta and Knoxville.

Maldonado and Tyler quarterback the power play, which is mainly when Maldonado saw action this weekend.
